Of all the features of AnyDesk, remote controlling an Android device requires Android 7.0 or newer.Īdditionally, users may have to download and install a control plugin on their Android phones due to a plethora of Android versions and models. AnyDesk is compatible with most Android phones, not to mention it works with any operating system including Mac, Windows, and iOS. SO JUST BEWARE OF WHO YOU LET IN YOUR DEVICE!! I used to think I was pretty smart about all of this, but the guy fooled me.The answer is Yes. Fortunately I don’t store any of my passwords on my phone so he was unable to get anything….I believe… at least. When I rebooted I changed my phone password. So I hung up on him & did a hard shut down on my phone. Fortunately, shortly after, that Little voice that alerts us when something is just not right told me the guy wasn’t a rep of Gmail and to STOP. AND 😡😡 (angry at myself) I gave the guy permission to get into my phone. Realized later it wasn’t, but had already downloaded the app. While searching for the phone number so I could have assistance I came across a number that said was googles number. here’s the deal: I am unable to get into one of my Gmail accounts. Unfortunately, I cannot leave a decent rating because of what happened to me. here it is again, let’s see if it shows up this time. I sent in a review but it’s not showing up. Anyway, please rate the app based on IF IT WORKED OR NOT, not “oh no i got scammed 😭😭😭”.

No big deal, and this isn’t supposed to be a bug report as this is a review, but I’d figured that I’d still leave it here since I’m too lazy to go on their website. Only issue is holding and dragging with the touchpad controls, and it doesn’t support custom cursors as every time you move your mouse, it would invert the mouse hue every second frame. It works as intended, without any weird paywalls. You got scammed, and it’s your fault that this “microsoft”/“amazon”/“cash app” indian person who is totally not a scammer just scammed you. And for all those people who are leaving 1 star reviews, let me ask you even CHECK the reviews before downloading this supposed “scam” app? No, you didn’t. Of course you’re giving them access to your device, duh.
